Introducing weather types in Minecraft
Here is a list of all the weathers and their effects in Minecraft.
Fresh

Fresh weather is the most common weather in Minecraft. When the weather is clear, the player can see sunlight and blue clouds.
Rain

Rainy weather will reduce light levels by 12. This weather only occurs in biomes with temperatures between 0.15 and 0.95. Rain will extinguish all flames, except the one on the netherrack.
Mobs like Skeletons and Zombies can also walk during the day when it rains as rain will extinguish their flames.
Rain will help fish spawn more and irrigate farms. In the desert there will be no rain.
Thunderstorms

Thunderstorms occur in any biome and reduce the light level by 10 (but the game will treat the light level as 5). That means mobs can appear and roam around during the storm.
During thunderstorms, lightning will occasionally strike and burn anything it hits. If a villager is struck by lightning, they will turn into witches. The player can summon lightning during a thunderstorm by throwing a trident.
The average storm lasts 0.5 – 1 day, between storms there is a delay of 0.5 – 7.5 days. The player can use the bed to bypass the storm altogether.
Snow

Snowy weather occurs only in places where the temperature is less than 0.15 or at high latitudes. Snow will cover all non-transparent blocks with white.
