Kenshi is a survival RPG set in an extremely harsh post-apocalyptic setting. Because of that, many players feel exhausted the first time they join a battle in the game. Don’t be discouraged because once you get used to the game, everyone will find Kenshin extremely attractive.

Get your bloody corpse out of the dirt, hobble to town and buy some bandages to bandage yourself up. After you feel better, this is the perfect time to learn the tips to become a strong warrior in Kenshi, allowing players to fight any enemy.

Tips to become a strong warrior in Kenshi

Can’t skip the training

There is only one way to skip the hard training, and that is to use about 10,000 Cat – the currency in Kenshi. Players can hire a Warrior with 20 ranks in all melee combat skills (they show up randomly in the bars), but if that cash isn’t available, beginners will have to learn the hard way.

First of all, everyone’s character will be hit dozens of times before starting to be able to hold out in a fight. Although the character is defeated, the character will not die, but it also increases the long plasticity and the KO summoner.

Practice as much as possible

Not only in Kenshi but in all other games, practice will improve the player’s skills significantly. While practice won’t make a player an invincible champion overnight, it’s a good way to start.

Training with dummies can increase a character’s melee attack skills (not including individual weapon skills) to around rank 5, and they’re useless once the skill goes above that, so take advantage of them when you can.

Once you’ve built your first settlement, spend some iron plates to make dummy (which needs to be unlocked first in the research area). Practice with the dummy for a few minutes until you reach rank 5, at which point the character will be stronger, more effective against a real opponent.

Start a real war

After the dummies have done all it can to assist the player, wander around near a large city until you find aggressive bandits, waiting to attack.

Currently, the gamer’s win rate with one of them is around 50/50, but these thugs roam in extremely crowded groups.

It is absolutely not advisable to rush into this crowd. Instead, adopt a smarter play. Get close enough to provoke them to the gate of the town. The guards are not kind to scum bandits, and will deal with them in short order, giving the player a chance to go around and practice combat with 1-2 bandits after they separate from the crowd.

Know when to block

In the lower right corner of the screen, where there are all the toggle boxes for different behaviors, the player will see options like Passive, Block and Ranged. These options require the character to act in certain ways whenever possible.

Passive characters (Passive) will avoid combat at all costs, and are less likely to be targeted by criminals when within range. Ranged characters (Ranged) will always try at max effective range, this setting is more effective if you have melee fighters.

Finally, block (Block) is a great way not to die. While in block mode, a character will gain +20 melee defense, but will never attack. This is a great way to buy time if help is available or if you need to drop items so you can run away faster.

However, blocking is not always the right thing to do, as the character’s toughness and KO resistance increase when taking damage. This increases the more damage you take.

So blocking helps players live longer, but also does not train their abilities. If you really need some combat XP, consider dropping your guard and using it (as long as you’re sure you won’t be completely knocked out).

Live today, fight tomorrow

There is no shame in running away in Kenshi. Sometimes, players will find it impossible to win any match. If the enemy is strong enough to kill himself instantly, the player should stop. Even if only one team member escapes, they can return to the area and revive the others once the enemies have dispersed.

Above all, be cautious in all situations. Don’t get into wars where people aren’t sure they can win, or at least survive. With patience and regular training, the player can finally take on the strongest enemies in the worst wastelands.
