First appearing in Chapter 13 of Resident Evil 4 Remake, this enemy is relentlessly ruthless and likes to corner Leon. The only way to escape their attention is to shoot off their leg to buy time, but it will soon grow back.
To take down a Regenerador permanently, the solution is to get the Biosensor Viewfinder, found in the Lab. In Resident Evil 4 this is an updated version of the original Infrared Range. when equipped with the Biosensor Scope, the player will be able to detect the parasites inside creatures and destroy them which will permanently end the Regenerador.
To obtain Biosensor Range the player must obtain a Level 2 Key Card from the Freezer. Head down to the Lab at the bottom of the stairs after using the Level 2 Key Card and run to the room in the back. Inside a box next to the Key Card machine is the prize.
Equipping the Biosensor Scope on a rifle like the Stingray would allow Leon to see through the bodies of these evil creatures. The parasites are then highlighted with light and blowing them all away will permanently kill Regenedor.
