Tips for playing PowerWash Simulator
Choose the right nozzle for the job
By default, the player is equipped with 4 main nozzles:
- 0 degree: This is the strongest level and will remove all debris, graffiti and mud.
- 15 and 25 Degrees: The two are quite similar, delivering a wider spray with lower power depending on whether the water path is wider or not. Both are very good at moving dirt and will be the main nozzle to use.
- 40 degrees: This nozzle only removes dirt at the highest level, so it’s great for cleaning residue and then returning with smaller nozzles and deeper cleaning.
As they progress further in the game, people will unlock:
- Head rotates 0 degrees: Offers some greater spray range with 0 degrees. It is useful for clearing higher positions off the ground.
- Soap: Soap is expensive to use and has little benefit other than cleaning larger areas quickly. In general, if you do not have enough money, people should not use soap.
Unlock tools
In the store there are more electric washers, nozzles and soaps. The soap requires refilling (default R when on the soap dispenser) and is very expensive. Any other tool upgrades are permanent. Players must repurchase extensions and swivel nozzles and soap dispensers for each sprayer purchased.
It is better for players to upgrade the sprayer so that the 15 and 25 degree nozzles are stronger and use the 25 degree nozzle more than 15 degrees.
See the amount of dirt on the meter
At the top left, people will see a bar showing how much dirt is left on any object (for more optimal soap usage). Use this meter to find out what or part is not clean.
Bend down for a more thorough cleaning
There is no better way to remove dirt than to bend over. Many windows, stairs, and different facades of the house require bending down and dusting off. Most of the subjects don’t require 100% completion, but a lot of them do require the dirt to be removed from the bottom. So bend down to clean every nook and cranny by pressing the key Ctrl.
Make a mark instead of just using the naked eye
Just like the dirt of real life, dirt in PowerWash Simulator can appear anywhere. It can be located under or behind the wheel, hidden from the player’s view. In cases like these, tab Details can get people to the right audience, but will need to use the key Show Dirt to detect dirt.
Keys Show Dirt is associated with the tab by default. This will highlight the dirt with a bright, flashing yellow. However, keep in mind that this means that if dirt gets on a bright yellow object, the color change may not help.
Location plays an important role
There is a dedicated key to switch between standing, crouching and prone positions. As players progress through the levels, players will find dirt in some hard to reach places, so don’t be afraid to adjust your position to reach them. This is especially useful for checking under or around objects.
Likewise, a mission might require the player to clean the top of a large structure. People may also need to do a bit of jumping and climbing until they’re on target. Check around for climbing objects, such as ladders or stools, to make sure there are no dirty spots left.
Don’t forget to rotate the nozzle
Keys CHEAP, in addition to filling the cleaning solution, is also used to rotate the nozzle. This gives players greater control over their aim, and when combined with aim mode, it provides all the tools needed to remove dirt anywhere on the map.
This ability is often overlooked by new players in the early stages, but in fact it is really useful and greatly increases cleaning efficiency.
Use aim mode to increase accuracy
The Aim Mode feature was added to the game after an update and has greatly improved the gamer’s experience. It makes it possible for the player to stay in place and move the nozzle while aiming – a huge boon for accuracy. Besides, while aiming, the nozzle itself can also be rotated.
Aim Mode provides wide, precise control without having to constantly look around. The nimble movements of the aim mode are also useful to PowerWash Simulator players in the long run.
Money making tips
Players will earn some money from each level and there is no other way to collect more. The only thing gamers should do is not waste money on buying soap. Everything can be cleaned with the default kits the game provides. Players should save cash and use soap in bigger levels after they’ve all been upgraded.
