GTA Online Los Santos Drug War – the opening chapter in the new Grand Theft Auto Online story update, has been added to the game, bringing in a brand new business called Acid Lab. This article shows you how to set it up.
The Acid Business is a new business added to GTA Online as part of the Los Santos Drug War update. Unlike other businesses, the Acid business is actually quite simple. Players don’t even need to buy vehicles or anything. Therefore, this business is quite suitable for those who are short of cash.
How to set up Acid Lab in GTA Online
Complete 6 First Dose . missions
First, the player needs to complete the First Dose quest sequence. As soon as you enter the game, Ron Jakowski will call you asking for help with a business opportunity. Just look for the “R” icon on the map and set a waypoint for that destination.
Just step into the yellow halo in front of the liquor store to do the first quest. There are 6 missions:
- First Dose 1 – Welcome to the Troupe
- First Dose 2 – Designated Driver
- First Dose 3 – Fatal Incursion
- First Dose 4 – Uncontrolled Substance
- First Dose 5 – Make War not Love
- First Dose 6 – Off the Rails
After the final mission, the player will be able to obtain the 6×6 MTL Brickade, a heavy vehicle that includes the Maibatsu Manchez Scout C motorcycle. It is used to still transfer Acid Products and can also be claimed in Freemode .
Setting up an Acid Lab . business
After acquiring the necessary lab equipment, Brickade 6×6 will become Headquarters and the talented Mutt will help you set up and operate your new business. The player will have to pay him $750,000 to install Acid Lab at the back of Brickade 6×6.
Sourcing is pretty easy, pay Mutt to order, for example, or you can go back to Humane Labs, stealing grains and volatile chemicals. Rolling up your sleeves and doing a short shift yourself will help speed up production. Once manufactured, the final product will need to be delivered to potential buyers and out of sight of the authorities.
Park the 6×6 Brickade outside the Freakshop, or you won’t be able to access the source quest. Just like that, players can set up their own Acid business and earn income from it.
About Acid Lab
Besides the $750k setup cost, Acid Lab has a number of upgrades that you can apply in Freak Lab, including all the usual media upgrades:
- Acid Lab Equipment – $250K, unlocked by completing 10 silly jobs started by calling Dax.
- Armor – installed by default
- Nearby Mines – Kinetic, Spike, EMP, Slick and Sticky
- Weapon Ram – None, Light Ram (installed by default), Reinforced Ram ($213750), Heavy Ram ($242250), Big Spoon ($280250).
In addition, this is a drug business completely separate from MC business. You can operate Labs and Sourcing as CEO:
- The full supply from Acid Lab sells for $237,500. You need to resupply the Lab 3 times to make a full stock without upgrading. That’s 3 x $60K if you buy supplies.
- A full supply with the Acid Lab equipment upgrade sells for $335,200, the device is priced at $250k.
- High demand rewards apply when selling in a public session.
