FIFA 22 is the latest installment in EA Sports’ popular soccer game series. The football simulation game depicts the 2021-2022 season in many of the world’s best leagues, including the Premier League, Bundesliga and La Liga. To win a football match, of course, the only way is to score as many goals as possible.

Drag the opponent out of position
Players can’t score without the ball, so regardless of tactics and approach, the first recommendation is to make sure to find possession of the ball when there’s no obvious advantage.
The best way to score is to pull the opponent out of position, but if you play against a good player, chances are high that they will pass. Everyone needs to keep moving and working with the ball until new opportunities open up. But it’s important to remember that as long as everyone has the ball, the opponent won’t be able to score.
Take control of the ball
While there’s no need to become a complete dribbler, it’s a good idea to learn a few moves. Actions such as a fake shot, performed by pressing the shoot button followed by the pass button, can help players beat their opponents and win a space or two.
This can be especially effective when a player is directly facing an oncoming goalkeeper, as people can get them to sit down and shoot into an empty net. This action greatly increases the player’s probability of scoring, which is the outcome that any player wants.
Change the gameplay
Don’t be afraid to switch play and shoot the ball out. Crossing really works in FIFA 22 instead of just working in the middle. If the player line-up allows, make sure that team members are entering the box during crosses, to have options in both the near post and the far post for ball exploitation.
Clever ball moves can make a huge difference in attack. Hold the button L1 and push the triangle to lift the ball into space. Everyone will need to put a little more kick power into the pass to get it into the area in front of the striker and run up, instead of playing with their feet.
