Overcoming the highest difficulty level in Brotato is not easy, especially if you want to do it with individual characters. Although it’s a bit difficult, beating Danger 5 in Brotato is doable. This article will tell you how to do it!

For starters, you should join Brotato’s Danger 5 with one of the best characters: Demon is probably the easiest, but Knight and Loud are also relatively easy.

To beat D5 with each character, you need to practice a little and focus on defense a lot (maximize your avoidance as soon as possible). Also, getting the best weapons in Brotato helps a lot – but for difficulty 5 playing defensively and focusing on Dodge, luck and armor are more important.

Here are my tips and tricks for passing Danger 5 in Brotato.

How to overcome Danger 5 in Brotato

Here are the top tips for getting through D5 with all the characters, arranged in random order:

  • Early in the game, focus on increasing Dodge (chance to avoid damage), as well as Luck and Harvesting to get the snowball running and improving your RNG.
  • Defense is a great defense. Focus on getting good armor and HP regen. You will need to heal during waves 5, 20 and in all later stages of the game.
  • Don’t be perfectionist! Please understand that wave 20 is extremely difficult to beat. This is where luck comes into play.
  • You also need great weapons. Remember that if you want more of a specific weapon, buy early and then recycle the weapon you don’t want.
  • Don’t get fixed damage modifiers! Focus on % damage or % critical and especially % speed as you upgrade your weapons.
  • Attack speed is extremely important. If you want to play it safe don’t focus too much on critical as it is very random and based on luck.

Brotato Danger 5 pass guide for each character

Since there’s no one formula that works for all characters, you’ll have to spend a lot of time experimenting to see what works. Here’s a quick guide to getting through D5 with each character in Brotato:

  • Loud: More enemies = more loot. Using the OP slingshot will make for an easy win.
  • Demons: Also very easy. Use almost all of your health on turns 1, 2, 3 on items before inflation starts. Early harvest, luck and attack speed will help you easily pass the level. Don’t forget the armor!
  • Knight: 34 armor, 60% evade = victory for almost any character.
  • Soldier: Run win with lifesteal, attack speed and piercing. For Soldier, you can shoot while walking by clicking continuously on the keyboard.
  • Well-rounded: Use a slingshot. Start with a stick and change to a slingshot in the shop after round 1. Sticks, knives, and shotguns are good choices for starter weapons.
  • One-armed: Quite difficult. Start with the ax, but switch to op weapons that appear in later stages. Lightning swords have the best results.
  • Farmer: Full harvest is more efficient than kill + harvest build. Initial economy items (piggyback, crown) make running much easier.
